Why should I book Sunita Jassal Artiste?
Sunita's style is innovative. From the time your booking is confirmed leading up to the booking itself; Sunita maintains contact and ensures the look for your day is finalised to ensure a stress free and well organised booking. This is the same process for both brides and occasional clients, as Sunita values all clients equally. Customer service is at the forefront of Sunita's Brand and it is something she is very passionate about.
Do you have experience of working with my skin tone/type?
Sunita works within the makeup industry – in doing so she is constantly presented with various skin tones and conditions. Whether you are tanned, olive, oriental, or have skin concerns such as scars, redness, uneven skin tone or acne – she will be able to help you look radiant for your wedding day or special event. The products Sunita uses include but are not limited to Nars, MAC, Tarte, Chanel, Kevyn Aucoin, Makeup Forever, Estee Lauder etc. Sunita is skilled in matching the foundation exactly to your undertone. No ashy, cakey or pale foundations will be used!
Will my makeup last all day?
Professionally applied makeup will last the duration of your wedding day/special event with proper care. Quality products are always used and steps are taken to ensure your makeup lasts. Sunita will provide you with tips for wedding day touch-ups (for bridal clients) and a list of must-haves.
For extra care, clients are advised to avoid makeup transfer by avoiding contact with your face throughout your day (ie hugging relatives cheek to cheek, if you cry – pat your tears with a paper towel, do not wipe your face, etc).
Do you offer trials or consultations?
Sunita offers Bridal trials and consultations whereby she sits and meets with Brides to be, the outfit(s) are discussed, as well as jewellery and pictures of hair and makeup ideas, so everyone is on the same page on the Big day.
This is something that Sunita highly recommends to do prior to your wedding day as your makeup artist will be the first vendor you will meet on your special day and it leaves a mark for the rest of the day.
Sunita will apply complete makeup and hairstyles for you and take notes and pictures so the look can be recreated on your wedding day. She also recommends to have an online consultation when brides are unable to meet up for a bridal trial.
Do I need to place a deposit?
To book Sunita, a non refundable and non transferable deposit is required to confirm the booking date and time slot so you as the client, can be rest assured that no other booking will be taken at your chosen date and time slot - this applies to all bookings.
What areas do you cover?
Sunita is mobile based, therefore she is available to travel locally, nationally and internationally.
Do you travel for 'hair only' or 'makeup only' bookings?
Hair and makeup for occasional clients is booked as a package (hair and makeup) for each person. However where there are 4 or more ladies in 1 given location, then Sunita is more than happy to accommodate.
Which services do you offer?
The list is never-ending! Sunita offers hair and makeup for brides, occasional hair and makeup (proms / hen dos / birthdays / baby showers / corporate events etc).
After a number of enquiries, as of 2019 Sunita started to offer 1-2-1 makeup lessons and more will follow with this in 2021. To find out more complete the contact form
